About Datacene
The name Datacene is a play on Anthropocene. The Greek root -cene relates to geological periods of time. The Anthropocene symbolizes how humans are the dominant force shaping Earth's environment.

Datacene is emblematic of how data is an increasingly significant driver of change in the world around us. As humans rely more and more on data, it is important that we are making effective decisions with this information.

I plan to make Datacene a place to share my interests in how people learn, reason, and make decisions in the world. I am especially interested in the topics of cognition, motivated reasoning (how prior beliefs shape how we process information), data science, and how empirical methods can be applied to everyday problems.

I'd be happy to hear any passerby's thoughts, comments, or questions. Feel free to send an email or contact me on any of the provided external websites.
